Space Cleaners

Space Cleaners was developed during the Global Game Jam 2024 under the theme 'Make Me Laugh'. The goal was to create a cooperative experience that was both fun and chaotic, where two players work together to repair a space station using absurd tools. The players are physically connected by a rope, requiring them to synchronize their movements. One player is responsible for repairs, while the other must craft and provide the necessary tools. Initially developed in a single weekend, the game was not fully completed within the jam’s timeframe. With my team's approval, I worked alone for an additional five days to refine the mechanics and make it playable for a showcase at our school's open house event. I collaborated with another gameplay programmer, while the rest of the team focused on the artistic direction and sound design.
